ChillSet January Recap

Wow, what a crazy month January was. Lot of fun stuff so let's take a brief powder and review some of the highlights from the past month:

- January 7th - Pepperoncini's in Framingham: Starting the year off right, ChillSet revisits Peps to hang out with the regular crew. Does Dara pour the best beer in Framingham? I say yes. Also, I think we devoured the pizza in record time. And that's saying something...

- January 14th - Pinz in Milford: A place we haven't played in months. And what do we get? The coldest night of the year. Got down to -7 degrees. Great seeing a bunch of the old Tennessee's crowd (Amanda and Sam). Also, props to Jess and Mandy for stopping by to say hi. I thought Scott was gonna have a chance with the table who was celebrating several 40th Birthdays, but he chickened out. Which sucks, cause I love chicken...

- January 22nd - Creegan's Pub in Worcester: This was a classic Creegan's party. The gentlemen were well-behaved and the ladies classy and elegant. Oh, also Scott decided to dress up as me and pulled a bunch of tail (a sweater vest often has this effect). I take 30% credit for any sexy eyes thrown in his direction...

- January 28th - Pepperoncini's in Milford: ChillSet did their first radio interview to promote for this show on WMRC 1490. You can listen to our scintillating discussion by clicking here (the interview starts at 38:22). We then moved the party to Peps where another great show and good times were enjoyed by all. FYI, Vince is incredibly handsome and powerful in person...

- January 29th - Asgard in Cambridge: The final show of the month DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We showed up a couple of hours early to find a gigantic party fundraiser raising money for Australian Flood Relief. The place was packed, packed packed! Once we got started, we were joined by 50-100 wonderful ladies who enjoyed the close company and companionship of other wonderful ladies, as demonstrated by the copious amounts of dancing and kissing right in front of us. Winning them over with a steady diet of Lady Gaga, 4 Non-Blondes, and a cappella Whitney Houston, ChillSet partied hard and the crowd responded in kind. This was an incredible show, and one of the highlights of any show we've ever played there...
Ready for February? So are we. See you next time!
P.S. We're hard at work at building a ChillSet iPhone/iPad app. It's currently in beta, but we hope to have it ready for download in the next month or two. If there's anything you'd like to have on the app, go to our Comments section and let us know. Otherwise, I'm putting my recipe for homemade chicken gravy porn. Lots and lots of porn.
