The ChillSet van is headed to NYC!

So I spent a little time checking out the Sullivan Hall website last night, and let me tell you guys, this place is very chill and a perfect venue for ChillSet.  This place recently hosted some very big names like the Lee Boys with Marco Benevento (who frequently jams with Mike Gordon of Phish) and Warren Haynes (of Gov't Mule, the Allman Brothers, and my iPod at least once per day!), also Charlie Hunter, Lettuce (who I have heard great things about) and Tea Leaf Green.  And now ChillSet. 

This is a big show for the band as they pack up that gorgeous purple van and head out of Boston to NYC.  There's alot of ChillFans in New York so I have no doubt we'll pack the place, my only question is what will the band play?  Lately they've been mixing up their set lists, weaving random cover songs in with their fresh originals and I think even surprising themselves a bit with what ends up making the Set.  Personally, it's been awhile since I've heard them do Floyd's 'Brain Damage' (which can at times jam into Stairway to Heaven, but I just enjoy Justin doing the lunatic laugh in the background) or their original 'Dirty Money' so I would love to hear either of those.  But the band doesn't even know what they'll play I'm sure, so I guess I'll just have to be surprised!

Oh, we WILL be playing "Dirty Money." It will be night filled with orginals, a medley or two, and if the night gets absolutely crazy...."The Sluggard" 
 
 
 
Shows that contain "The Sluggard" will hence be known as Sluggard Shows...they will be few and far between, so you should make every attempt to be at these special performances. 
 
 
 
In addition to that, I have recently found the Ultra-rare Sluggard master recording, complete with never-before heard lyrics. I will talk to the Master of the Blogosphere and see if we can post it to Chillfans.

A.) Brain Damage doesn't go into Led Zepplin Stairway to Heaven...Smoke two Joints does.  
 
 
 
B.) Scot does the lunatic laugh in the background. (Justin does a tigger laugh from Winny the Pooh)

I can confirm that the laugh is eerily close to that of Tigger. TTFN: Ta-ta for now. The wonderful thing about Coconut Jones is I'm the only one...I'm the only one. Rrrrrrrrr.....

I just wanted to say thank you Scott for giving me the absolute pleasure of driving the GPV all weekend long as we moved for 25 consecutive hours. An experience I will never forget.

didn't know where else to stick this....... HI! my name is Will. AKA Quilly "the nuts" D E Avis. Look i realize that I am not on the official chillset starting roster... nor should I be. But common. Give yur utility players some love, show some class. I mean the van gets a bio but I am left out here in the cold with nipples that could cut glass....... I am absent from all 3 chillset oasies that I know of on the vast wasteland of interweb. I mean the VAN!?!? The VAN!!! that showboat has been leeching my credit for years! Little love is all I ask.... Here I'll mkae you a deal: Ask the van what key "gettin punchy"'s opening riff is in. If the engine rumbles a 440 A.... I submit. If it doesn't: then I demand a photo of the van holding a big sign that say "Quill made me his bitch on chillfans.com " to be made available for public consumption!!!! and I want a fresca. a COLD fresca. with crazy straw. a electric blue one. With a minimum of 3 loops.
